Title: !CHAOS: a new approach to Control Systems.
Abstract
The development of web technologies—driven by the need to support an ever increasing data throughput as well as by the compatibility with different hardware and software platforms, opens new perspectives for the design of computer monitoring systems.
The !CHAOS project (Control system based on Highly Abstracted and Open Structure) integrates such techniques in the design of a new Control System able to operate highly diversified contexts both by type, size and geographical extension.
